Peak Building Consultants has extensive experience working with education estates across the UK, from small village schools through to large multi-academy trusts and national PFI providers.
We understand that no two schools are the same. Each has different budget constraints, funding arrangements and operational requirements. Our advice is always tailored to the specific needs of your school or estate, never a one-size-fits-all approach.
We work with local authority schools, single academies, multi-academy trusts (MATs), sixth-form colleges and private education providers.
Peak Building Consultants has extensive experience supporting schools and academies in accessing ESFA Condition Improvement Fund grants. With our RICS-regulated team and deep understanding of the education sector, we can guide you through the process from initial survey through to submission.
The Condition Improvement Fund is an annual opportunity for eligible academies, sixth-form colleges and non-diocesan VA schools to secure capital funding for essential building improvements. Funding can be used to address health and safety concerns, ensure building compliance and improve poor building conditions.
Projects covered include structural repairs, fire and gas safety measures, ventilation improvements, boiler replacements, asbestos removal, sports facilities and classroom expansions. Schools can bid for up to two eligible projects, with a maximum of £4 million per project.
Peak Building Consultants is well-versed in the CIF application process and understands the level of detail required to submit a successful bid. We can support you from initial survey through to submission, carefully targeting the ESFA guidelines to give your application the best possible chance of success.
